Perhaps it was the new v tasteful knitwear, the lush and meaningful momento’s, the boxes, the aftershave, the plastic, the paper, the ribbon and bubble-wrap too, the fudge, the welcomed chocolate orange, the seasonal bottles, and mother’s strange ‘stocking-filler-contents’ for all possible medical ailments !! tres leches for sister one leche alone wouldn’t do the coffee, the shloer, the wine the amazing most comfortable chunky boots from my girl, pictures abounding too…. no books…… and even more mysteriously no journals!
