do you believe your tomorrow and your next year can and will be better and brighter than your today?

do you ever ask this question:- if I were to lose my job for any reason, who would I be? ie, how sure are you about your identity not just your job?!

*from a recent preach:-
what are the obstacles to the seed of the Saviour in the soil of your soul?

There’s a question that’s been bouncing around with me lately. I’m going to share it with you in the hope that you’ll take time to chew it over. Here it is.
Are you living a rhythm of life that restores God’s wonder in you?
Here’s what makes this question so difficult; for it calls for a yes or no answer!
Mostly I love Christmas. It can and yet will be wonderful, but regrettably it’s a complicated season to navigate. There’s shopping, food, excess, parties, family and the stress and overload this all induces in our culture. One aside, how minimal will my decorations be this year! This, or this…? Do advise!!
But back to the plot! However hectic, however harassed, I don’t believe this Christmas has to be a rushed, frenzied stressed out time of the year for you and I. This is where that question is truly key – What if we seek an alternative to the insanity our society calls the Christmas season? Possible? I think so. Do-able? Yes – though easy, it isn’t!
I’m having really interesting coaching conversations with folks where the increasing thread is this, rhythm of life issue! Perhaps this could be your Christmas dare: that you restore and establish the wonder and awe that God originally intended for you!! Live up to the aspiration and intention for which you were created! The incarnation is for your transformation and mine: Jesus-with-us is for our purpose and for our peace…… So here goes it,…….
What will you do to restore God’s wonder in you?

if you were having an imaginary conversation with a 75-year-old version of yourself, how would it go?
