The layers of detail and complexity in his life make challenging reading. The headline read ‘sometimes love is not enough.’ It set me thinking. More-so-because, actually, I suspect that people might commit suicide for the opposite reason, because love is too much.

I don’t know how true that is in this case. But the thing I was thinking is that to be able to love is to be able to commit to the future, with all the uncertainties and fears. Suicide might be said to come about when individuals can no longer make that commitment; when they can no longer brave love.

How brave and true is your love? Go on:- be brave, fear nothing but God and love deeply.
