saw a different shape and plan to my diary……. The Fantastic Mr Fox has to be a contender for best kids film of the year. Brilliant. Live animals and open spaces in the Kent country are wonderful: thanks dear sister! Playtime with family and friends is a treasure…. A delightful day when my beloved joined us! Scrummy indeed! Though I lose vision there is a thread. In clouds of confusion there is a thread. Over years of changing there is a thread: God is faithful!

The tougher the decisions, the lonelier it is. It’s dangerous to succeed. It is dangerous to succeed while being young. rarely, does God give leadership young because it takes crushing and failure first. It’s hardest at home. Nobody at home is applauding you. They say, “Dad! Your fly is open!!” It is essential [...]

After I sought out multiple elastoplasts, my Mum would tell me not to itch it. I would think, “It doesn’t itch; it just hurts!” But she was right; as soon as the wound would begin to heal, it would begin to itch and I’d want to tear off the bandage and scratch, scratch, scratch [...]
